The Leicester Warriors are a professional English basketball team from Leicester, Leicestershire, competing in the English Basketball League (EBL) Division 1. The club attracts fans and runs community coaching and grass root teams in the Leicester area. Their home venue is the Braunstone Leisure Centre. ==History== The club were founded in 2004 by Leicester-born ex-England team and Georgia Tech basketball player Karl Brown, with an emphasis on running community based programmes addressing social issues as well as encouraging participation in basketball.
